Information Systems Degree

Program and manage computer information systems across all sectors.

The Information Systems degree program prepares students for careers around information technology, such as support, testing, and project management. Information Systems degree-seeking students also need to select a minor to complement their studies in information systems. Students may select any minor, except Information and Computer Science or Computer Information Management. Suggested minors for the Bachelor of Information Systems program include: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Graphic Design, Leadership, Management, Military Studies, Organizational Communication, Project Management, and Statistics.

As a student in our Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program, you can take face-to-face classes at our Parkville, Missouri campus, at one of our Kansas City area campus centers (including Independence, downtown Kansas City and Parkville), at campus centers nationwide and/or online.

Our Information Systems degree program will prepare you with the skills needed in data processing, analysis and management to pursue any number of information system jobs in business, government, nonprofit sectors and other industries. While pursuing this Information Systems degree, students will select a complementary minor, such as business administration/management, geographical information systems, graphic design, leadership, organizational communication and statistics.
